PRA follows the Douglas County School District weather schedule. If Douglas County has a delayed start or closes due to weather, so does Platte River Academy.

On a delayed schedule, school will start ONE HOUR later than the normal start time, but dismissal will remain the same, 3:15pm.

As in the past, any schedule change announcements will be provided to local television and radio stations. Only exceptions to normal school schedules will be announced. Watch for area closings under the following headings: Douglas County North Area Schools, when ALL schools in the District are closed due to severe weather. If Douglas County Schools are not mentioned, Platte River Academy is operating on a regular schedule.
