Student Life

Friendships and a Caring Environment

Caring Environment

Student life at PRA is one of friendships and a caring environment. Staff and families support students by fostering a sense of belonging and community. PRA focuses on including all students in activities and teaches character traits that promote empathy and cooperation. Lunch and recess is focused on inclusion and playing with everyone which fosters a safe space for all students to grow.

Growing Up Together

PRA students have a special opportunity to progress from Kindergarten through 8th grade at PRA and are recognized at graduation as being members of the Kindie Club. With 50+ students graduating each year, PRA usually has over 25 Kindie Clubbers. These students have grown up together and the PRA alumni have shown that they stay in touch throughout their lives.

Building a Sense of Community

Although PRA requires a dress code the students are offered dress of choice days quarterly and for special occasions. By participating in these special events, the students feel excited to put their best forward. This all helps to build the sense of community among the student body and brings the K-8 grade student life to support one another.
