Governing Board

Platte River Academy is governed by an elected board of seven members. Each member is expected to serve a three-year term and employs and evaluates the leadership team on an annual basis. The Governing Board is also responsible for budget approval and monitoring as well as management of committees it charters to provide expertise in the areas of school accountability, finances, technology, fundraising, architecture, dress code and communications.


The Governing Board meets at 6:00 pm on the 2nd Thursday of the month.  View our calendar on the main page to see upcoming meeting dates. 


If you would like an item slated on the agenda or have a question to address the the PRA Governing Board, please email PRA Governing Board.  Items for the agenda must be received one week before the meeting.


All meeting material is kept as part of the Board's meeting record.
